Welcome to Ko Tao

After our short stopover in Krabi, we started this morning at 6:45 am towards the Gulf of Thailand, or more precisely to the small island of Ko Tao. We were picked up at the hotel by a minivan and taken to the coach that took us to the ferry in Surat Thani. After a good 3 hours drive, we arrived there and boarded the ferry. After a stopover in Ko Samui and a transfer in Ko Phangan, we finally reached our destination around 2:30 pm. But the trip was really worth it because the weather is very nice and so is the hotel and the surroundings. After checking in, we went straight to the pool, but it wasn't a real refreshment, as it felt like 35 degrees. After that, we took a walk on the beach and explored the town a bit.

In the evening, we went to one of the many restaurants to eat delicious food and have a cocktail on the beach. It will definitely be a few very relaxing days here on the island, as we will only continue to Ko Phangan next Tuesday.
