Tag 40 - The last evening :(

In the morning, there was not much left of the beauty of the previous day. It was cloudy and the weather forecast announced bad weather. We set off again to drive about 100 kilometers to Malmö. We wanted to spend the night there. On the way there, it poured rain. There was also supposed to be a thunderstorm at night. Together with Ria and Pascal, we decided to drive another 2 hours, until we reached the vicinity of Nyborg (Denmark). Here, the five of us (the four of us + dog Coco) rented a cabin.

Here we spent the last evening of our trip and at the same time our last evening together.

We made ourselves fresh pizza, played a few rounds, and enjoyed the dry cabin while the weather outside got worse.

Throughout the evening, there was a sad atmosphere in the air. None of us wanted to leave for home so soon the next day. During the last 6 weeks, we had become very accustomed to the advantages of traveling and had an incredibly beautiful time. The freedom, peace, and the many different things that the world has to offer made us eager to travel. So we are already looking forward to the next big trip on the way back.

After the last round of Wizard, we went to bed to rest before the journey home.
