Day 15 - 07/04/2024 Horseback Riding and Trip to the Waterfall

Today, just like yesterday, started off very relaxed. 

Around 11:30 am, the girls got to ride horses or be led on horses. Henriette rode Missy, and Juliane rode Elly. Both had a lot of fun and even got to practice 'steering' a horse.

In the early afternoon, we took a quick swim in the lake. Juliane and Martin went all the way in too. 

Then we went on a tour with Christoph. We zipped through narrow forest paths in his vehicle. We were in an area where the finest sea sand was, yet there was still a forest growing (it used to be a sea area). We saw an osprey in its nest, a deer, and bear tracks. Then we visited the waterfall of the Klinaklin River. It was a great, exciting ride like a jeep safari through the forest. We were completely covered in dust from head to toe:-)
