Yesterday (07.02.18) we left our hostel in Mui Ne. After an exciting night, it wasn't that easy for me. I stayed downstairs for a while, where the pool party started and ended up jumping in myself. It was cold, but awesome :D Well, luckily we then took a 5-hour bus ride to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) and it was a sleeper bus. Much more comfortable this time, we had plenty of space!! When we stopped at a rest area, we noticed that the Vietnamese actually have socks that have a gap between the big toe and the rest of the toes, so they can easily fit into flip flops. That's really crazy :D Moreover, Vietnam's landscape is amazing. It's incredibly green and fertile. And when I say green, I mean all kinds and shades of green. From light green to vibrant frog green or light turquoise. The mountains are covered with trees and the rivers have a great color! It's always wonderful.
When we arrived in Saigon, we took a taxi to the hostel. Saigon is big, dirty, noisy, and crowded. Just like a city with 8.4 million inhabitants should be :D The hostel ladies are really nice and showed us everything right away. Then we went out into the city and had something to eat and then sat in District 1, the so-called Backpacker Area, similar to Khao San Road in Thailand, and had a drink. Then we were tired and went home. This morning at breakfast, there were already 3 Germans sitting there, whom we immediately agreed to explore Saigon together tomorrow with Fabi, who will arrive tonight. I have to say I feel comfortable here and I'm looking forward to the next few days!
PS: Unfortunately, there weren't many photos yesterday, but that will change as soon as we are on tour :D
