Aloha Hawai'i - e hoʻi mākou, Tag 22

Goodbye Hawai'i - we'll be back.

The day started very early in the morning. Getting up at 3:30 am, leaving at 4:15 am. In the garage was the first shock. Thomas' backpack with the cell phones and other important documents was in the room. The keycards too and the door was locked. Sh..........t!!! After a sprint through the garage, thankfully there was a security guard present. He was able to program a new keycard and Thomas was able to get his backpack. The rest went smoothly until the departure at 7:00 am. 5 hours later, we landed in San Francisco. There, the next, this time pleasant, surprise awaited us. Edi granted us access to the United Club, which is the airline's lounge, as special members of United Airlines. Here, the waiting time of 5 hours until the next flight is a little easier to bear with buffet and free drinks. The flight to Munich and on to Vienna was calm and uneventful.

This blog ends here. We had a really great time in Hawai'i. We experienced a lot of exciting things and saw a lot of beautiful and interesting things. We were on high mountains and in the sea. In the rainforest and in the snow. We experienced 21 out of the 22 climate zones that exist worldwide.

We hope that everyone who has read this blog has been with us in Hawai'i.
