Now we're sending all 3 of us together to Paradise Farm, where we're just an hour away from Williams Lake.
There is neither constant electricity, which is drawn from solar panels and in an emergency from outside a generator, but the hot water is limited to 30 liters and the boiler is of course not turned on every day. The microwalls and the boiler have to be cleaned at the same time and the washing machine is washed casually and connected to the faucet to do the laundry. Apart from washing up with cold water, it's a very good thing where it just makes sense (🥴).
I also slept in a caravan, and since it was going to be a nightmare that night, I woke up in the fridge in the morning.
On the farm there are many animals that we have to take care of, two chaps, 9 dogs, 21 chickens, a few cats and a lot of horses. Our daily task was to feed the animal, feed the dog (the pen of the doggos, the chicken coop and the rast from the garden, and the horses were allowed to run around freely).
We send the trees for the forest to the fells and through the whole forest we go, with the sand sliding over the whole forest in the chicken coop, a 7 kilometer long path through the forest is cut so that we can meet a horse without having to see the whole forest in sight If there is no time left, send Erin and Anouk no go - provided we have the hands of the horses, as well as their "paddock" consists of a very, very, VERY large piece of forest . Yes, exactly, FOREST. 🙂
I once "rented" it out to a neighbor of our host (who lives almost half an hour's drive away) and spent the day collecting pipes from the irrigation system and bringing them to the depot. Two times when transporting tubes, we have the best place at the front in the tractor compartment.
The square dance always takes place on Thursdays, which is always danced by a group of 8 Lüüt, where each pair forms a dance so that at the end it is square. The caller then plays the next "figure" while the music is playing. aa and that's how I actually dance z 8ehöch metenand.
She went to ballroom dance twice in the middle, where she learned the basic steps of jive, foxtrot and salsa.
Zwüschedure beni 20gi worde and had only a nice breakfast and a very fine chocolate cake, but was also surprised by a group of my friends (nomol es fats thank you from the other place 🥹🫶🏻).
On October 11th I spent the last day with the host and at the top I went dancing and finally had a nice Indian dinner in the hostel where I would spend the night. So quickly it's time to go to bed and to send out a change of civilization - and I'll have to sleep without thermal underwear and a sweater and still be warm and shower with unlimited warm water after the camp-like hygiene standard for the last few weeks without a nice reset . It's very nice and I love the hostel!
