After a wild night and a wonderful farewell from our loved ones in Vienna, we meet at the airport. To our shock, we find out that our flight has been cancelled. Excitedly, we go to the ticket counter to find out what to do next. Two nice ladies issue us a ticket to Paris, from where we will continue on to Lima DIRECTLY. Thanks to a technical glitch at Frankfurt Airport, we only have to make one stop instead of three. Luck is already on our side. After a pleasant fifteen-hour flight, we land in Lima. A huge city with more people than in all of Austria welcomes us. We are picked up directly from the airport and taken to our amazing accommodation called EDEN Hotel.
Joachin and Mirta are our hotel parents, who have taken really good care of us.
After two exciting days in Lima filled with thrilling bus rides, eating ceviche for the first time, staying at a wonderful hotel with really kind owners, experiencing total traffic chaos and so much smog that we couldn't even see the sun, visiting a market, going to a circus, and getting to know the entire circus family - who live in two mini caravans - and learning our first Spanish words, we move on to Huanchaco.
