Day 2 in New York

Hello my dears :-)

Day 2 in New York!

The day started with an American breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs, and toast.

After that, we took the bus to New York where we had a several-hour city tour. There, we got to know the different neighborhoods with all their differences. From the Upper East Side to Chinatown, Little Italy, Greenwich, and Soho, everything was included. Each part really has its own flair. The new World Trade Center and the Ground Zero Memorial were very impressive.

On a boat trip on the Hudson River, we were able to admire the amazing skyline as well as the Statue of Liberty from the water.

In the evening, we continued with an extended city tour. Here, we got to see the lesser-known places like the abandoned High Line railway or the Chelsea Market. Taking a walk in Central Park at night showed us the city's versatility.

Once you know the quieter areas, you can really enjoy living well and make the most of the countless benefits of such a city.

Yours, Catharina xoxo
