How quickly time has passed. We will be leaving on Sunday. Now we are slowly washing the last loads of laundry, using up groceries, and tomorrow we will already pack our suitcases. It's a strange feeling because we had a really great time here with lots of amazing and new experiences. Today we even heard an alarm. Alex was already on his way to a dinner at the law firm when suddenly a very loud siren went off and I was almost grabbing Jakob and hiding in the pantry, just as Alex had told me to do in case of an earthquake, etc. Some people were running on the street below. But I immediately turned on the TV and there it was: a drill alarm in "honor" of Total Defence Day. Apparently, not everyone had heard about it...
And then on Sunday our journey continues. We have 15 nights of cruise ahead of us, which we will enjoy to the fullest before I have to go back to work on the station two days later at 6 am. I'm looking forward to work, but even more so to a little family vacation with buffet meals beforehand. It's already our third cruise, Jakob's second. 🙂 Almost exactly a year ago, we were already with him in the VRE. Let's see if he remembers. 😃 And I'm especially looking forward to Mumbai. I have always wanted to go to India and we will even meet friends there.
