Less planning, more dreaming and just doing it!
During a bullitour, Tino and I realized that we wanted to escape from the hamster wheel of German work society. To have some time for ourselves! If not now, then when, we said to each other. And so a dream grew slowly but steadily, a dream that was to become reality.
We thought about what we roughly imagined, but we quickly realized that we wanted to leave room for spontaneity and not plan everything down to the minute.
For me, goals like breaking out of the hamster wheel, leaving my comfort zone, learning a foreign language, collecting new impressions of international cuisines, and going surfing were the most important drivers.
For this, we wanted to take a year.
Since we didn't want to have to rely on work, there were two options for us:
Southeast Asia
Central and South America
We quickly decided on option 2. In all the countries, we would be able to learn a language and the lightness, joy of life, and cuisine of the Latin Americans made our anticipation grow.
