Cahuita

Hoʻopuka ʻia: 09.03.2023

After a really good sleep, I woke up quite early today and went straight to the beach. Cahuita is a small town and is also quite geared towards tourism, but the many small bars and restaurants make the atmosphere very nice. In the evenings, there are sometimes fairy lights hanging between the trees, and you constantly hear (& see) the crashing of the waves.

The black sand looks very pretty, even though it has the advantage of being much firmer and therefore doesn't constantly blow into your face, it is dark and after 10 minutes I was covered in black sand, just like all my belongings. My bag was beige most of the time :D

The best thing was the sloth that I saw on the way. It was hanging relaxed in a tree and didn't move, and looked super fluffy. Definitely the highlight of the day!

Ich hoffe du hast eine Wäscherei gefunden. Ich mag schwarzen Sand nicht🙃.
