15 by ferry to Helsinki

Unfortunately, there is no internet on the ship. Therefore, this report will only be available on Saturday.

Tour details: I didn't contribute much to this result, except for buying a ticket.

Weather: We had beautiful and calm weather throughout the crossing. There were no waves to be felt.

We departed from Travemünde already before 3 am, but I didn't notice it. I was fast asleep. However, I had learned beforehand that all time indications were in Finnish time. Due to Finland's location, I assumed that I had to set the clock one hour ahead. And that's exactly what happened, so the brunch didn't start at 09:30, but according to my previous time, it was already at 08:30. That suited me very well since I was already awake.

The buffet is very diverse, but what caught my attention the most were the various fish specialties (see photos). Satisfied and full, I went back to sleep, the tiredness was still there. The advantage of an inside cabin is the darkness. So there is no difference between day and night. I slept for another hour and a half.

After that, I took a tour of the ship, which is large for a ferry, but still much smaller than a cruise ship. Please take a look at the photos, as a picture says more than a thousand words.

I spent the day relaxing and enjoying. Then it was time to eat again. I bought a voucher in advance. It is valid for 2 brunches and one dinner, including all drinks. Even with champagne for breakfast!
