Continuing in the morning to Esquel. According to blog entries we read in advance, the journey was supposed to be quite exhausting as we had to cover almost 80 km on gravel roads. However, when we drove the route, we were pleased to find that the gravel area had recently been paved. So we reached the small town comfortably. This time, Heike wanted to make a reservation in advance. But unfortunately, it was not possible in this place. All rental companies wanted an advance payment of 20-30% of the rental price. But since we can't do this because we don't have a bank account here, we had to rely on luck again and drove around the place three times to find an accommodation. But that was only because Christian came up with the idea of booking an accommodation with a pool when entering the place. Heike just shook her head because she had looked for accommodations and emailed landlords the night before. Everything could have been done quickly. In the end, Christian gave up and we took a really cozy cabin that Heike had already chosen the day before. But the best thing about the cabin was that the landlord was a true gaucho. Furthermore, the accommodation was located across from a gineria. We learned from the gaucho where you could eat delicious pasta in town because we had actually had enough meat. Fortunately, Argentina not only has delicious meat but also very good pasta. This restaurant only served pasta. You could choose one of eleven sauces. Soon the restaurant filled up with almost only foreigners. Among them were two Swiss women with whom we exchanged some tips. Well satisfied, we went to our cabin. There we allowed the children to watch another movie while we went to the gineria opposite. However, when we were there, we realized that we would rather be with the children. So we went back home and watched the movie "Coming to America" together with them. We also had hot milk with honey.
