Early in the morning we went to Bangkok, so we arrived at our hostel in Bangkok around noon. Upon arrival, we took a Grab Taxi to the Floating Market, as the hostel offered a tour there. However, we arrived a bit late to join the others on time. The market was a really great idea. There were many street food stalls and various stalls selling clothes and more. We also took a boat tour through the canals and even saw a nearly 1-meter-long water monitor lizard. In the evening, we went back to the hostel, quickly freshened up, and went out again because we went with the hostel to a Thai boxing match. It was sometimes very bloody, but still very exciting and something you should definitely see in Thailand.
The next morning, we went on a sightseeing tour to see the temples in Bangkok. After two hours of walking, we switched to a Tuk Tuk because it was very hot and the distance was longer than expected. In the afternoon, the hostel offered a meditation session at Wat Arun, and of course we joined. Afterwards, we all went to a night market (Indy Market) and indulged ourselves with street food. :) Then we went to Khao San Road, where we treated ourselves to a small insect snack :o
On our last day in Bangkok, we started relaxed and went to a mall after breakfast. Unfortunately, there wasn't much more than looking around, as our backpacks were already full. In the evening, we took a taxi to the airport, as our flight to Phuket was at 8 p.m.
