The next morning it is dry, a little windy and we can have breakfast outside again after a long time. The bakery cart is parked just around the corner and there are fresh croissants and rolls. It is still relatively early when we set off. At ten o'clock we are already on the bus heading towards Cuxhaven, because I would like to have a telephoto lens. Wasn't available on the Lofoten Islands... unfortunately not in Cuxhaven either... so no luck! Our destination is the Klimahaus in Bremerhaven. To turn our beer vacation into an educational vacation... finally! It is very interesting and really well made. To read all the information, watch the movies, and explore everything on the 11,000 square meters, it takes about 7.5 hours. Our parking ticket gives us much less time, but it is sufficient. If you are ever near Bremerhaven, you should check it out, it's definitely worth it. We take a journey from Bremerhaven across the 8 degrees east longitude around the world and get to know the climate, land, and people. Unfortunately, it is quite crowded during our visit, as a large number of school classes had the same idea as we did. Teachers... how stupid can you be...?! Let me tell you something... do you know how much they learned there... NOTHING...! They played games, played with their phones, or talked nonsense...! They could have done all that in school that day too...! Without a clear mission, no tolerable results! You know that...! Anyway... not my problem for the next few months!
After such a long journey, we are hungry and have something to eat in the Klimahaus. Afterwards, we stroll along the promenade with the dog for a while and discover Uwe's Grill (although it should have actually been called Uwe's Grill... same mistake all the time...). If we had known that...!
Finally, a coffee in the harbor and then we move on. We want to leave the potato land quickly and cross over to Holland. By now, it's almost 7 pm and we have to ring the reception to pass the barrier. We sit in front of the bus, have another beer, and review the whole day again... there was a lot of information. Actually, we wanted to walk through the square again, which is huge but very beautifully laid out with many bodies of water... but... we get stuck and only make it to bed!
