Today it finally started. The alarm went off at 6:45 am, and we started picking grapes at 8 am sharp. The work is really relaxed. After filling up our buckets, we have some time to relax and recharge while packing them into 150-gram containers ourselves. We worked until 3 pm today, then we called it a day because of the heat. Tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter, so we're starting at 7 am.
We found a nice spot a little off the beaten path where there are toilets but no showers... But thanks to our solar shower, we're still able to shower every day 😊. We don't have to pay anything here because it's similar to a rest area and no one is bothered by it - at least not yet. This way, we save even more money. We found this spot through a fantastic app that is worth its weight in gold. ➡️ WikiCamps, for those who don't know it yet and maybe their journey will begin soon 😉. It costs a bit, but it's worth it!
