We spent a night at the beautiful, but slightly windy camping site at Bambatsi Guestfarm and then drove for a long, long time through the rather barren landscape to see the rock engravings in Twyfelfontein - a UNESCO World Heritage site (Twyfelfontein or /Ui-//aes - UNESCO World Heritage Centre). The guided tour there was very interesting. It is hard to imagine today that the area was probably much more fertile and moist in the past.
