Today I have the day off and can use the wifi at the Mitico Lodge on the other side of the lake by boat. I have lunch with the kitchen assistants and interns. There are stuffed zucchinis with rice and for dessert 'Colegial', a former poor people's meal made with hard bread soaked in milk with sugar and cinnamon. It tastes pretty delicious in my opinion. Jan from Hanover will arrive by boat at 6pm. A new volunteer, with Nutella, cookies and tortillas in his luggage. Together with a package of tortillas, cheese(!) and soy mince, as well as bell peppers and lettuce available in the park, we produce a hearty dinner.
