Saturday morning awaits us with summer temperatures and blue sky. Many start the day with a plunge into the cool water, the hotel pool offers a welcome change from the blazing sun and nearly 30 degrees Celsius. Breakfast is also served by the pool.

Afterwards, we go on a sightseeing tour through the nearby national park and the old town of Scottsdale. Through the desert we go towards the "mountains".

The most impressive is the "Whole in the Rock", a rock formation that looks as if an alien were lying in the embryonic position on the ground.

Our hiking destination was quickly reached. There was still a short time for group photos and then it was quickly back to the hotel.

On the way, our guide showed us the old town of Scottsdale, including the wild west. Some used the lunchtime for small shopping tours, others used the time to relax by the pool.

In the afternoon, our bus took us to downtown, where the homestays from the ranks of the Orpheus Men's Choir were waiting for us. The LJC members spent the evening with their host families. The last jet lag would be overcome after this wonderful day. On Sunday morning, it gets serious, and the first performance in the church service is approaching, as well as the big concert in the evening. Time for bed. Good night, or rather good morning, to Germany.
