Having spent only a day and a night in the city of Krabi, which seemed very hectic and confusing to me, I was already drawn back to the sea for a small day trip. I already knew that the province of Krabi is not only famous for its beautiful landscapes, but also for the maybe most beautiful beaches in Thailand. One of them, according to travel guides, is Ao Phra Nang Beach. In my hotel in the middle of the city, I inquired about a possible transfer. The lady at the reception advised me to take the bus instead of a taxi. However, I didn't quite understand the supposed bus stop, so I decided to look for a taxi. It didn't take long for a moped driver wearing an orange vest to ask me where I wanted to go. He offered to take me for a few baht. There are quite a few of these gentlemen in Thailand, they are sort of moped taxi drivers. In any case, the driver safely took me to the beach and picked me up after a few hours as agreed. Upon arrival at Ao Phra Nang Beach, I immediately noticed the beautiful and long beach promenade with many shops, restaurants, and bars, which invites not only for sunbathing on the beach but also for shopping and strolling. The beach is not really wide, but very long and beautiful, especially due to a spectacular view of Krabi's island and rock world. Also beautiful to see here are a variety of wooden longtail boats on the sea, which add a romantic atmosphere to the already picturesque landscape. The turquoise blue sea glistens in the sunshine and one could almost feel like in paradise, if it weren't for the enormous number of tourists who occupy the beach. Another 'drawback' is the garbage and the many tree branches that cluster a bit at the edge of the beach. However, the unique beautiful landscape with the small islands and the protruding, green-covered rocks in the middle of the sea, which can be seen from the beach, easily makes up for the negative aspects of the beach. Of course, I have a few pictures for you for this report. I look forward to your feedback.
