In Huntington Beach, we stayed in an Airbnb in a typical American residential area. Accordingly, there wasn't too much to see here, so we spent most of our time at the pool, on the beach, and at the supermarket. After all, the ice supply doesn't replenish itself.
Since we didn't just want to laze around, we visited two large shopping malls in one day. First, the Westminster Mall, which is only a few minutes away by bus. However, we were rather disappointed. The mall was very old, everything was carpeted, and overall, the mall didn't make a very inviting impression.
After this disappointment, we treated ourselves to a typical American cinnamon roll with what felt like 10 tons of icing and continued to the South Coast Plaza. This mall was recommended to us by our host, and the 1-hour bus ride was definitely worth it. Unfortunately, there are no photos of the beautiful mall, but it was stunning and above all: huge!
