Our day started with Karin, João, and Jade at the Egyptian Museum Curitiba. The museum has some originals, real mummies, and very good replicas, as well as a beautiful garden. Afterwards, we were invited to have lunch at Jade's family's house. In addition to very good Brazilian home cooking, we also had the company of her grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, and brother. When it comes to food, Brazilians are very hospitable and close-knit. After that, we went with Karin to the beautiful botanical garden, where we met her daughter Juliana. After a short walk, we went to the German Forest, where an ancient fairy tale is told, including a gingerbread house, etc. All in all, we had a very nice day with lots of culture, nature, good food, and very nice people.
