This morning we were happier because we were able to leave the heater on in the RV overnight because we had electricity at our campground. Because tonight it was only around 8°. Then after our breakfast we set off again to the Grand Canyon to do a little adventure attraction at the airport. We booked a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon and, after a sufficient introduction, got into the monster. SENSATIONAL ‼️ we flew over the pine forest and after a few minutes came to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Unlike yesterday when we did the hike, we were able to look into the gorge from above. Creepy beautiful. We saw the Colorado River below us from 5,000 feet. We saw the enchanting rock formations below us and it was a truly exciting and unique flight over the Grand Canyon.
We then continued towards New Mexico, taking a small section of the legendary and historic Route 66 with us.
In the evening we arrived in Holbrook, somewhere between Williams and Albuquerque. A place where you don't want to hang dead over the fence. We are in the middle of the Arizona desert, and after it got dark it was pitch black, no light smog, but a black sky full of stars, I haven't seen so many stars in a long time.
