Today we will go on the boat with empty stomachs, you never know. But it was not a problem. After 2 hours, we reached the second island of our Galapagos trip at 9:00. After walking to our accommodation, we decided to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station. It is used for scientific research and to promote environmental education. Charles Darwin discovered that organisms adapt to their environment over generations and can change or even create new species. Organisms that are less well adapted die out. This principle is called survival of the fittest. In total, he spent 5 years as an unpaid scientist on an expedition with the MS Beagle.
Afterwards, we went to a beach and found ourselves in an animal paradise again. Iguanas, crabs, one or two sea lions (there are not as many here as on San Cristobal island).
