Hello!
On 5.12. we spent the late afternoon and evening at Holidayworld in Maspalomas. It's a small amusement park with attractions like ferris wheel, rodeo riding, roller coaster, etc. The park was very crowded, but we hardly had to wait in line.
Yesterday, we had to unpack our hats and gloves for the first time. We went on a hike to Roque Nublo, the landmark of Gran Canaria. It's a giant basalt rock that is located at an altitude of 1,813 m and is the highest peak of the island. The weather reminded us of home. It was only 5 degrees, windy, and foggy. The hike took about half an hour, and despite the poor visibility, it was worth exploring the landscape.
Currently, we are on the ferry heading towards Fuerteventura. So stay tuned for the new island!
See you soon, Tim & Theresa
