Hello hello!
Yesterday we went on a trip to the sand dunes in Corralejo. We took a one-hour drive until we arrived there and could walk through or over the dunes. Behind the dunes, there is a dream beach with light sand and crystal clear water. The weather allowed us to jump into the waves. The sea has already gotten cooler, but it's still around 20°C. On the way back, we made a short stop in the capital, Puerto del Rosario, and strolled through the pedestrian zone to the sea.
Today we visited Garcey Beach. From there, at low tide, you can still see remnants of the ship 'American Star'. Brief history of the ship: 'On its way to a repair yard in Thailand in 1994, the ship, which had to be towed, encountered a severe storm off the west coast of Fuerteventura. The towing connection broke, and the American Star ran aground in front of Playa de Garcey in the west of Fuerteventura.' Today, unfortunately, not much of it is visible anymore, but it's still a special place. On the way back, we made another stop to visit the Aloe Vera Farm in Gran Tarajal.
