On our preliminary last day together, Aman and I went to the main road and separated there in a very clichéd way, one going north, the other going south. For me, the route was already familiar and accordingly unspectacular, it was mainly about making progress to arrive in Almaty on time. I had to deal with headwind again and had to pass through another toll station, again without any problems. In Almaty itself, I stayed for a few more days, again in the same hostel. Among other things, I had a fun evening with the owner and an employee, which unexpectedly turned into a lively one. During the day, a few more corners of Almaty were explored, including trying to arrange a guided day tour (unfortunately without success) and buying and sending postcards (both with great success). Other than that, Almaty had not much more to offer for me and I soon started back to Bishkek, where my flight back to Frankfurt would depart in a few days.
