After a very restful night in my princess bed, I had a very good breakfast! For two, of course, because who travels alone...?!? Once that was settled, unfortunately, my second orange juice was already gone...😉
Viktor (one of the many nice employees of the hotel) then told me right away that my backpack is on its way. It has arrived and it's complete too! 😊 The relief I felt could probably be heard all the way in Germany 😅
So I happily explored Porto - Cathedral ✔️, Tower ✔️, Harbor ✔️, Lello Bookstore ✔️, Port Wine Tasting ✔️. I got the first stamp in my pilgrim passport, bought my scallop shell as a symbol, drank a small sip of port wine, and visited the most beautiful bookstore in the world - so it was a very nice day for me and Porto is truly a beautiful city with many friendly locals! Especially the gentlemen over 60 are always giving me encouraging looks 😜😅 But I think I've seen everything that needs to be seen in just one day, so I can continue my journey tomorrow feeling satisfied 😊 However, the tasting turned out to be more than just a small sample, so I made my way back a bit tipsy 🙈😅 Besides discovering the first clue for my further travels, I also had to interrupt it for a sensational ice cream (see picture) - I've never seen ice cream like this before and it tasted sensational too 😋😊 maybe I should bring it to Munich? 🤔
There were a few tapas near my hotel for dinner and now it's time to go to bed. Resting for the first stage tomorrow 😬🙈👀 I'm very excited...
