Day 257 Once again Temple

A friend of my Girls, whom I met at the barbecue evening, had agreed to take me on an excursion today. We want to visit a small village on a peninsula. We agreed to meet in front of the Girls' house and then set off together. We passed by my friends' office where a small event was taking place. We were enthusiastically waved over and could eat fresh fruits. Super cool.

Then we took the bus towards the island. After a good hour's drive, we arrived at the river, which we immediately crossed with a ferry. On the island, we booked a river cruise around the island. However, since the river cruise did not start for another 2 ½ hours, we had plenty of time to explore the little village.

It wasn't very busy and most of the shops were closed.

Most people come here on the weekend, not on Fridays. But there were of course temples that could be visited and so we spent our time with temples.

The river cruise was rather unspectacular, but very cozy. We drove around the islands for about two hours and stopped here and there to see something or buy something in a store. Just cozy.

After the river cruise, we took the bus back to my friends' office. Since they hadn't finished work yet, we visited them in the office. It was a pretty interesting visit. The whole office seemed to know that I was visiting and wanted to see me. Unfortunately, most of them didn't speak English very well, but my friends translated for me. Everyone wanted to know about my trip. And when I would come to Bangkok again. When we finally left, I had to promise to visit them all again in the office.
