After breakfast, we continued our journey.
Originally, I had planned to drive until Copenhagen and spend the night there. However, since I couldn't find a room there, I spontaneously decided to drive to Lund and look for accommodation there. Taking a chance...
The drive to Sweden was tiring, but the scenery was beautiful. Especially the drives over the two long bridges, as I chose to go by road instead of sea. The first bridge in Denmark (Storebæltsbroen) and of course the Øresund Bridge.
When I arrived in Lund, the search for a room began. Luckily, I had support from home, as most accommodations need to be booked online. Eventually, I found a bed & breakfast near the main train station, where I wanted to inquire about a room for the night. Upon arrival, I met a German couple who told me that there was no reception here and I would have to contact a provided number. So, I called the number to inquire about a room. The owner of the B&B said that there was still a room available and I should book it online. Done and done. I got a small single room. Or rather, you can't call it a room anymore, because it was more like a small house...
However, to access the main building where the key to my room was located, I needed a door code which I didn't have. Just as I was about to call the owner again, another German couple arrived and kindly gave me the code, so I could check into my room.
A funny coincidence that I happened to meet two German couples. It just shows that the world is small...
It was very nice and cozy in 'my little house', and so I could enjoy the night in Lund.
