Island exploration

Today we rented a moped and headed to the other end of the island. There is actually only one street here. Everyone drives either a moped or a family/cargo moped. We only saw one bike. You rarely see a car. You don't fill up with Coke, no, but the gasoline is filled into bottles like this and sold in every store.

At the end of the island street we found this little food stand that was just right for us. There we ate a very tasty Pad Thai, who would have thought. Then explored the beach there.

By the way, I didn't convert to Islam, the scarf was used instead of a hat against the sun. And in Thailand it is customary to "fax" when being photographed...

On the way back we made a detour to Stone Bridge, but the route there was only partially suitable for mopeds.

When we returned at sunset, the bar at our hotel was actually open for the first time - Christmas is approaching...
