We are back again, first of all we apologize for the delayed blog post. This is due to the dead zone in which we found ourselves in the last two days. Just by that, you can tell how far away we were from any civilization. Already on the way across Sweden, until just beyond the border of Norway, we could admire the nature. Several reindeer crossed our path and did not hurry to clear it. One of us even got to see a moose disappear into the forest. Once again we were lucky to find a place for our tent with a breathtaking view. The landscape was characterized by Alpine-like mountains, with occasional snowfields, and crystal clear but icy cold lakes. In the evening we tried our luck at fishing, in which our skills are definitely still improving. So we decided to leave it at a campfire, because we can already easily light it without a lighter. On Saturday we made our best decision so far and went hiking in the surrounding mountains and were not disappointed. With the dark, low-hanging clouds we initially expected rain, but after just 10 minutes of walking it cleared up and we had to worry about getting sunburned again. At home we sometimes refer to Happerschoß as a mountain, but yesterday we did at least four times the amount of vertical meters and were rewarded with incredible views! Furthermore, we were able to expand our trophy collection with three antlers (presumably from reindeer). Curiously, we even had a snowball fight... in late July. On the way back we were finally caught by rain, which unfortunately is still going on. Luckily, we are sitting in the car towards Trondheim and hope that the sun will shine again when we look for a place to stay overnight. Only then can we fully enjoy the otherwise certainly beautiful landscape through which we are driving. Also, last night the rain affected us so much that we were forced to eat in the car. Moreover, we went to sleep relatively early in our temporary home, the tent (mosquito-free, dry, warm zone). We hope for better weather and that we can report on time the next time!
