Travel to the Baltic Sea

We didn't expect such a long journey to the Baltic Sea.
Lots of construction sites, lots of trucks on the road and even more cars. The love of my life always said: We can get to the Mediterranean faster than the Baltic Sea! True again.

But we did it. After about 10 hours (with breaks for espresso and recharging) we reached our destination: Stralsund! It was still very warm, around 29 degrees, but there was a wonderfully fresh wind.

Quickly go to the Hotel RÜGENBLICK and then to the water. I learned that it is not the Baltic Sea here, but the Sound; to be precise, it is the Strelasund. Enough for today then. We just want to eat something and then fall into bed. The SUNDBLICK restaurant, which is part of the hotel, is the perfect place for dinner.
A football field and some trees blocked the view of the sound. It doesn't matter, you can still see a bit of the sound and the sailing boats on it. And the food was really tasty – of course there was fish and beer from here: Störtebeker beer from the brewery in Rostock. The first day of a long trip to the Baltic Sea ends.
