The last day in Texas

Cozy breakfast with sparse remnants. Brief chat with the girls from the neighboring cabin who arrived here last night.

We're heading off to Frisco and we arrive there after just 13 hours and in our hotel room as well. Now it's time for the last shopping trip. We go to Macy's and Walmart and to a nearby outlet. We can't get a table at the Outback Steakhouse because we would have to wait 45 minutes and we don't feel like it. So we go to some texan steakhouse around the corner. A delicious filet mignon comes on my plate for $25 (9 oz!).

Back in our cabin, it's time to pack up. Bags and suitcases are weighed multiple times, things are repacked. We check in online and - as perfidious as it sounds - we book two more excursions for our trip to Alaska at the end of August.

That concludes our nearly 4-week trip to Texas.
