Today was our last day in New York, because tomorrow we will continue to Washington DC.
Despite the rain, we still planned to go sightseeing. Due to the bad weather, we decided to visit the Natural History Museum.
It is a bit confusing, but if you follow the plan you receive, you can find your way around. In addition to the regular exhibitions, we also booked an extra one called 'the Dark Universe'.
In a planetarium with cinema seats, you get a closer look at the mysteries of the universe. It can be a bit difficult to follow because there are many English technical terms, but it is very interesting and the images are incredibly fascinating.
Impressive was also the exhibit of the blue whale, which hangs from the ceiling and almost takes up the entire space.
Afterwards, we braved the wind and weather. Despite the rain, we crossed the Brooklyn Bridge on foot. Soaking wet, we looked for a place to warm up. After some internet research, we decided on The Malt House, which is not far away.
Delicious food, but unfortunately only lukewarm.
The service was very friendly and accommodating.
Our conclusion after 5 days and about 55 km on foot in New York:
We will definitely visit this city again.
