Day 9 - Up's and Down's

Today we are already getting up at 07:15 AM because we have a lot to do (Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium and the trip to North Land). Unfortunately, we experience our first down right after getting up. The fridge is not cooling anymore, even though the camper has been plugged into the power for 1.5 days. After inspecting the fuses and electronic unit, the two electricians (Marco and Yves) determine that the 'black box' (transformer that should charge the battery from the external power) is not switched on - Thanks Jucy Cars. Because the helpline doesn't know shit either... :-(

Overall, our Jucy Car looks like it hasn't been driven for months. So we switch on this box and have breakfast in the sun. With a delay of about 45 minutes, we head to the aquarium. The visit there is short, but the glimpse into the underwater world of the sea is very impressive.

We continue along the harbor and the coast towards the north. Not only do we experience our ups and downs today, but the road is also going up and down like crazy. Our Jucy is challenged, but it manages everything.

As it is already late in the afternoon, we are looking for a place to stay overnight. With the help of a 'Top Secret' app, we find an amazing spot on the beach in Matheson Bay, where we are allowed to camp on a meadow (for free). This is our absolute highlight or up of the day. But see for yourself.
