This morning it was time to say goodbye to Cape Town and our rental car and say hello to the Chapman's Peak Drive, which leads beautifully along the coast to the south.
The first stop we made was in Simon's Town. There we were able to admire African penguins 🐧 basking in the heat. Then we were supposed to continue to the Cape of Good Hope. But after about 5 km of traffic jam was indicated in front of the park entrance, we quickly put our Toyota in reverse 😅 So it is recommended to arrive here as early as possible in the morning.
On the way to Somerset West, we made a short visit to the beach at Muizenberg with some colorful beach huts. 🏘️
