Motorhome Tour 2014: Cycling in the Rhône Delta

We left in the morning without breakfast because we had no bread left. So we stopped at the first Intermarché, bought some bread and had breakfast in the parking lot. We ate so much that we didn't have to eat anything for lunch.

We drove to the Rhône Delta. It looks a bit like an island because there is a river everywhere. We unpacked our bikes and rode along a path. It was a bit like with the dinosaurs, only instead of dinosaurs there were buffaloes. At some point, Mom and Flo didn't want to continue and they rode back. Michi, Dad and I stopped at a small river branch, walked around on dried ground and saw a (un)dead duck, and also lied down in the grass for a bit.

Later, we continued to Carro, a small town by the sea. We swam and went swimming there. There was a bay and actually only a rocky beach, but there was also a small strip with a nice bathing beach. Even though we did this with Hannes and the Button Factory, it soon became too cold for Dad and Flo, so we went back to the motorhome and then went to a nice restaurant at the harbor.
