From Gifhorn to Seesen

After the warmest day so far, the warmest morning followed. Although we got up relatively early in view of the weather forecast and had breakfast at 7 o'clock, we were able to enjoy it outside at 20°. We then set off in shorts and didn't need the vest for long either. The route initially led along the western edge of Braunschweig to Salzgitter. But as predicted, it clouded over and we got the first raindrops shortly before Salzgitter. We took a lunch break in the pedestrian zone of Salzgitter-Bad (we had already covered nearly 70 km by then), first in the outdoor seating area of a café because of the rain, and then we ate our sandwiches on a park bench. Afterwards, we actually made it to Seesen without rain. And once again we covered over 100 km (exactly 101.1 km). By the way, we stayed overnight in the Pension Rote Rosen in Seesen.
