After arriving in Endinburgh, the employee of the car rental company tried to convince us to get a larger model, claiming that it was a diesel and we would save money on fuel. After politely declining and starting our journey, we realized that diesel in Scotland is not cheaper than gasoline and the fuel efficiency wouldn't have made a difference. So we made the right decision...!
