We stayed at the Intercontinental near Times Square.

At first, we got a room on the lower floors. But after a friendly inquiry, we were able to move to the second highest (34th) floor. What a view. Directly on the Hudson River.....

Empire State Building

In the afternoon, we visited the observation deck of the Empire State Building. A stunning panoramic view...

One World

In the evening, we redeemed the pre-booked tickets at the One World Observatory. The clear advantage over the Empire State Building is that there are no grilles in front of your nose. However, you are behind glass panes, which makes photography more difficult.

The elevator ride up and down is absolutely 'amazing'...!

Food Tips

Have a corned beef or pastrami sandwich at Katz's Deli....
