a heartfelt wish come true..... vacation in Norway in May... woo-hoo.
As an introduction, Anita and I start with Oslo.
It was funny that everyone told us to dress warmly because it's so cold there. Well, no.... after 2 sweaty days - because we didn't have any tank tops and sunglasses with us, we had to go shopping first. We mostly had over 25°C, sometimes 30°C. That's why we had to eat ice cream every day, of course always with different toppings.
I got the Oslo Pass as a gift from the kids, so I didn't have to worry about transportation costs, etc.
We visited the Opera House, took a walk in the Vigeland Park, went on a boat to the Museum Island, visited the open-air museum, strolled along the harbor,
visited the royal family, walked along Karl Johans Gate many times..... visited the botanical garden - lovely to relax.... a beautiful city and the Norwegians are so helpful and friendly.
communication is not difficult, many can speak a little German, almost everyone speaks English....
the botanical garden is wonderful for relaxing, as there is shade, it is already super sunny and warm
