The past few weeks we have spent working on a kiwi plantation. How did we survive? No idea 😂 But let's start over, our boss, a funny Indian guy, thinks we're completely crazy. We can't blame him for that, he always comes at the most inconvenient moments, when something always goes wrong. Jessi stumbles through the plantation, Angie snaps a stick in her face or someone has to go to the bathroom urgently and sits in the hedge when he shoots around the corner and the other tries to distract him with some stories. 😁Regularly, we fall off the trailer or get run over by a foot. It's a miracle that no one is in the hospital yet. He always explains everything to us twice or three times, just to make sure that we really understood it, or he adds that we can call him if not 😂 for example, Angie and I were supposed to turn the trees around and stick them to a wire in another block. Sounds easy, unfortunately we couldn't find the trees and walked through the entire upper block. So we called and asked again. He meant the lower block, because you're not supposed to enter the upper one, because it was freshly sprayed and it's super harmful to inhale it. Too late 😂😂 We didn't suffer any damage or did we? 😂 One day we had off and the weather report said sun, so we went up to Papamoa Hill and looked down from above where we are. Said and done, unfortunately it started raining when we went up and it didn't stop. But we also have no more luck.
After 3 months of bulldog riding, turning trees and taping, we're going to the South Island on Saturday. After all, we need a vacation again 😂😉
See yah in the South ✌🤘
