This morning just before 9 a.m. local time, we landed in Colombo.

First, we went to the Airport Garden Hotel, which is located near the airport, where we had breakfast and freshened up. We used the breakfast as an opportunity to get to know each other. Our travel group consists of a total of 5 people plus tour guide Indige and the bus driver. Everyone is nice, it will definitely be a nice tour.

Then, around noon, we started. First, a city tour of Colombo with a visit to the Buddha Temple there. Then, we went on to the Dutch Fort in Galle and took a walk through the old town.

Although we were all quite tired after the long night on the plane and were glad to check in at the Hotel Saura near Galle, it was still a very nice, albeit long and exhausting day.
