Today was a 'full' day. After breakfast, we went straight to Inga Sami Siida, a reindeer farm near Sortland. We were excited to listen to the explanations in English about the animals and the farm, as well as the Sami people.
Afterwards, we were able to feed and pet the reindeer, and even help with their fur change. It was an amazing experience. Many thanks to Silke and Roberto for the great recommendation 😘
Then we headed to Trollfjord, where we could see why it got its name from the viewpoint. A high rock resembling a troll. 🤭
We then continued towards Svolvaer and the starting point of the hike to Tjeldbergtind... The hike was not easy, more like climbing than hiking, and it was quite hot today... But the reward at the end... Indescribably beautiful!
Then (it was already 5:30 PM), we went to find a place to sleep. Found one in Kabelvag. It won't be our favorite spot, it's too big, too lively, and the location... It's not bad but not particularly exciting compared to the other places.
We set up camp and then went out to eat... It was delicious.
We have a lot planned for tomorrow, so we will go to bed at 10:30 PM tonight 😉
