Today we went to the northernmost part of the North Island, Cape Reinga. On the winding way there, we made a stop at the unique Kauri trees, which was an absolute highlight at the beginning of the day.
At the cape itself, we were greeted by some tour buses and unfortunately, there were also many Germans. Greetings to Jack Wolfskin clothing ^^
But despite the many people, it was beautiful :) Seeing the meeting of both oceans along with the rainforest right at the coast was simply breathtaking.
Afterwards, we drove to the huge sand dunes at the end of Ninety Miles Beach and then to our very cozy bed and breakfast.
We spent the evening at the beach, where I was able to see the most beautiful sunset so far :)
