Today, after school (which I am slowly getting used to... now I just need the students ^^), we went to Chinatown. There, we first explored the Central Market. I had planned to just look around and not buy anything, and I actually stuck to it! Although I will definitely come back another time and then I will have to resist. There were a lot of nice clothes and other pretty Chinese decorations. There weren't many people approaching us, which was really pleasant. We then continued to the Petaling Street market. It was really crowded there, with stands lined up selling fake stuff and people constantly approaching you. I didn't like that at all. Checked it off the list, but I don't necessarily want to go through it again. We found the cool Chinatown afterwards. Street food everywhere, it smelled delicious from every corner and looked really appetizing most of the time. We chose a stand where you could pick your food on skewers, then it was taken and brought to the table a while later (we had to wait quite a long time, but it was really crowded). I loved everything except for one of the skewers, and the freshly pressed watermelon lemonade was a dream. I think I could get used to street food (especially the prices)! And since Chinatown is not far away, I will probably go there more often.
