Von Mexico City over Belize to Guatemala - a sign of life

Hello my dears,

I'm back.

Now I've been on the road for almost 3 months, and as some of you may already have noticed on various social media platforms, I have already experienced and seen a lot. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant start to my adventure, starting in Mexico City. I have Moctezuma's Revenge to thank for spending a week suffering in bed and on the toilet and not being able to explore much of this huge and diverse city. The crowning glory came at the end. After six hours in the emergency room, the stomach flu gave me the worst eight-hour bus ride of my life. It took me several days to dare to try fresh juices and street food again, but now I'm enjoying everything and being a little more careful...

The next six weeks in Mexico flew by. Then my journey took me from the Caribbean Belize to Guatemala. I've been on the road here for four weeks (three of them with the best companion you could wish for - my boyfriend).
