Stage 7 Steinau - Gelnhausen

It's going to be an intense day. Romantic stay in the Burgmannenhaus in Steinau (over 400 years old), like Gregor Gysi or Gunther Emmerlich before.
Early departure and idyll at the Ahl Reservoir.
Detour to the Mariengrotte in Ahl, then continue through the Kinzing floodplain to Bad-Soden. The Catholic church is being spruced up.
Gelnhausen is reached via Salmünster after another 32 km around 5 pm. Accommodation in the homeless shelter (also a pilgrims' hostel), short city tour and orientation for the evening.
In the evening, prayer with Taizé-style chants with the Protestants and with God, beer (pilgrimage brew), and poetry with the Catholics.
