After visiting Dunedin, we drove to Nugget Point and walked to the lighthouse at the end of a large rock 🗻 We had an impressive view. It was very foggy but still warm, and the small individual rocks made a great picture in the water. Down by the rock, we could even see a few small seals in the water 💦 Unfortunately, the road to Nugget Point was only one lane, and we lost a lot of time here due to a traffic jam 🚗🚙🚌
But we didn't want to miss a trip to Corio Bay, hoping to see the yellow-eyed penguins 🐧. Unfortunately, even after waiting for a long time, we had no luck and could only enjoy the beautiful view with a banana bread 🥧
Still, today we were as close to Antarctica as possible in New Zealand ❄️
